My Favourite Phases

We all go through phases in our lives. Sudden enthusiasms, interests, obsessions, hobbies that make us devoted to something for however long it takes to exhaust it. Some phases never end, we take them with us our entire lives. This site for example, especially the Diary pages, documents in real time the various phases I’m going through at the moment. It’s all there: my Kpop and Twice obsession, the many console games I’ve become enthusiastic about then dropped, my anime and manga consumption, etc. And in the background there’s the vestiges of the many other phases I’ve gone through that I haven’t exhausted and that still surface from time to time. My continued science fiction readings, the bands and artists I’ve followed who manage to make new records, or whose old records I somehow stumble across anew. The inspiration for a new phase obsession can strike at any time and come from anywhere.

Here is a list (with some links that I’ll add to when I have time) of some of the various phases I’ve gone through in my life. It’s by no means exhaustive, but in one way or another most of the items have to do with my pop culture interests.
