Watched the latest Twice game show, Time to Zzimbangz Episode One. Unlike other TTTs, this one only features Jihyo, Jeongyeon and Nayeon – the 3Mix combo of main vocalists. They’re holed up in what I assume is a Korean spa service branded as Zzimbangz. It’s probably another sponsorship endorsement, but who cares when it’s this much fun? The three started off by playing games against each other (for snacks), the first being one where they had to guess a film or tv series based on the first word. Most were pretty adept at this, though at one point Nayeon got her answer so wrong she left Jeongyeon in tears of laughter. Really the whole point of the show was to watch the members tease each other mercilessly. It’s wholesome fun and I’m here for it. But I wonder will any of the other members show up in this series?
Watched Ep 2 of Time To Zzimbangz, the Twice reality show featuring Jihyo, Jeongyeon and Nayeon. It was sillier and more unfocused than usual. Not sure if I’m supposed to watch this because they seem to be scraping the bottom of the barrel, but I do because it’s Twice. I’m not sure if we really needed an ASMR segment wherein the girls slurp and crunch noisily on food and drink either. Same goes for the segment where they had to guess what type of drink each of them drank from a selection of similar-looking beverages. There will be more episodes. I hope they get better, because my patience is waning.
Watched some Youtube, including Twice Zzimbangz ep 3. The girls did a who can sing the highest contest, and Nayeon won. She got pretty high, but I’ve seen other idol singers get even higher – like whalesong screechy bat high. They then got to play at an arcade that’s part of the Zzimbangz centre. Jeongyeon seems to be an ace basketball scorer. Jihyo not so much. There was the inevitable mukbang soon after. During it Jeongyeon said she’s had her eyebrows tattooed, which surprised the heck out of the other two. It became a bit of a meme. But I’m not sure how true it is. Maybe Jeongyeon was having them on. She is the joker of the pack, after all.
